Here is exactly what this prototype does with your file and profile on this website.
The PDF library is packaged with the site. When you choose a form, the browser reads its interactive fields and generates a new file locally. This build contains no upload endpoint for the document and no account service. Sending the finished PDF elsewhere is your own action.
The workspace remembers values during the current tab session. “Save on this device” writes the profile to your browser’s local storage so it can be restored next time. The button is explicit because shared computers are a poor place to keep personal or financial information. “Clear saved details” removes that stored profile. Browser storage is not an encrypted vault. Clearing the browser’s data or using private browsing can also remove saved information.
A person can draw a signature with a mouse, trackpad or touch screen. The tool requires the named signer to affirm intent before adding the image to a separate PDF review page. It does not verify identity, collect witnesses, create an audit trail or cryptographically sign a document.
Some forms prohibit a separate signature page or require a secure portal. Some PDF files have permissions, unusual fields or no fillable fields. The tool does not provide legal, medical, tax or financial advice. The user must inspect the downloaded PDF and follow the form owner’s instructions.
Any account system, payment processor, AI interpretation, OCR or remote storage would change the data flow. Those features are not active now and should have clear terms and controls if introduced.
